How to start trading on Nado

Step by step from account to first trade and withdrawal, based only on Nado’s own documentation (checked 08 Oct 2026). Each step links to the page it comes from.

Not available in some regions, including Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Panama, Russia, Syria, Ukraine (Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk), view-only: United States, Canada (terms). Check the terms for your country before depositing.

1. Create an account

  1. On app.nado.xyz click Connect Wallet. You can sign in with email, Google or X, which creates an embedded wallet tied to your account, or choose "Continue with a wallet" and connect MetaMask, Rabby or any WalletConnect wallet. source ↗
  2. Nado runs on the Ink L2. If you use your own wallet, add the Ink network (chain ID 57073, gas token ETH) and keep a little ETH on Ink for gas; the guide suggests 0.01-0.05 ETH to start. source ↗
  3. An older Season 1 page says access is invite-only and every user must join with a valid invite code; the current onboarding guide shows no invite-code step. source ↗
  4. Nado blocks users in Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Panama, Russia, Syria and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Users in the United States and Canada can only view the interface; trading is disabled. source ↗

2. Deposit collateral

  1. USDT0 is Nado's quote asset. If your wallet already holds tokens on Ink, go to Portfolio, then Deposit, select the asset, enter the amount and confirm; deposits are near-instant. source ↗
  2. From another chain or an exchange, open Deposit, stay on Use Crypto, choose Transfer Crypto and pick the token and chain you will send from (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, BSC, Solana, Tron, Bitcoin, HyperEVM or Ink). The address is chain-specific: sending on another network can lose the funds. source ↗
  3. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay deposits are handled by Fun.xyz under Use Cash. The first time, Fun runs a short verification (name and date of birth) and may need basic KYC. source ↗
  4. The first deposit must be worth at least $5. Native ETH cannot be deposited straight into a trading account; wrap or convert it first, or use the direct-deposit flow. source ↗

3. Open your first position

  1. Order types include Market, Limit, Stop Market, Stop Limit, TWAP, Take-Profit/Stop-Loss and Scaled orders. Stop orders can trigger on the oracle price, the last traded price or the mid price. source ↗
  2. Unified (cross) margin is the default and isolated margin is available for perps, one isolated position per market. Under unified margin the leverage slider only limits order size; the margin actually used comes from the market's risk parameters. source ↗
  3. Entry-tier fees are 3.5 bps (0.035%) for takers and 1 bp for makers, charged in USDT0. Taker orders below a product's minimum size pay the fee as if they were that minimum size. source ↗

4. Know how liquidation works

  1. Liquidation starts when maintenance health falls below zero, which the app shows as Maintenance Margin Usage reaching 100%. Open orders are cancelled first, then positions and balances are sold at a discount. source ↗
  2. Liquidations use the oracle price from Chaos Labs, not the traded price on the chart, so a position can be liquidated even if the chart never touched the shown Liq. price. In a multi-position account other positions also move that estimate. source ↗
  3. FX perps (EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY) allow 40x leverage but are isolated margin only. source ↗

5. Withdraw

  1. Withdrawals go straight to your connected wallet on Ink with no bridge. They are batched, usually settle within about 30 minutes when the network is busy, and can be tracked in Withdrawals History on the Portfolio page. source ↗
  2. The withdrawal fee is 1 USDT0 (0.0006 wETH or 0.00004 kBTC). Fast Withdrawal is optional and costs an extra 1 USDT0 plus the greater of 5 USDT0 or 0.1% of the amount. source ↗

6. Common mistakes

  1. Take-profit and stop-loss orders execute as limit orders once triggered, so in a fast or thin market they can trigger without filling. source ↗
  2. A negative USDT0 balance can appear even if you did not borrow: PnL is settled in USDT0, and Nado borrows it for you if your account does not hold enough. source ↗
  3. Non-stable collateral counts at less than face value, so available margin can be lower than what you deposited. source ↗
  4. Nado has two weekly maintenance windows, Mondays and Thursdays at 22:30 UTC, with up to about 10 minutes of limited app functionality. source ↗

Before you trade

Perpetual futures use leverage: a small price move against you can liquidate your collateral. Start with a small amount and low leverage, and read the venue’s current fee and margin pages, which can change after this guide was checked.
