How to read this

Venues pay funding on different schedules: Hyperliquid and dYdX every hour, the others listed here every 8 hours. We annualize by scaling the reported rate to a year (rate ÷ interval hours × 8,760) without compounding. Funding changes every interval, so an annualized figure is a snapshot, not a forecast of what you will pay. “Last settled” is the most recent payment; “current / predicted” is the rate the venue is accruing now. Lighter’s API reports rates in an 8-hour-equivalent unit, which we use as given.

Funding is only one cost of holding a position. Trading fees, spread, price impact and liquidation risk usually matter more for short holding periods.
